You know, that'd be an interesting franchise opportunity: airport wheelchair rentals. Miss the line-ups! Board your plane first!
I like it.
RSRichard Scrimgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14810796827331508445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-260174438615435300.post-75425809862166800312008-08-24T18:32:00.000-05:002008-08-24T18:32:00.000-05:00Travel drama - ahh yes, been there. Just back from Mexico -- went to an interior village to see a literacy centre that my school helps support. Came home with one teacher needing wheelchair assistance through three different airports. Some people in line at Houston airport yelled at our group when we were brought through the customs ahead of them with my friend in the wheelchair. Imagine that. The customs man even made my friend get up out of the wheelchair & insisted she walk from behind a red line across through the scanner. She couldn't walk...had to hop alone. Outcome after hospital in Ontario was that the foot was fractured. Do airport security people make everyone in wheelchairs stand up?

SusanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
